Dog Control
Stephen Donaghy, CNYSPCA
On January 1st of 2018, the switch in Dog Control was turned over to the CNYASPCA. The dog control is just for dogs. Cats and wildlife will not be handled by the CNYASPCA.
The process for redemption will remain the same. The dog will need proof of a current license in Tully before being redeemed. If the dog does not have a license, then the owner will need to obtain one from the town clerk before the dog can be released. If the dog does not have current proof of rabies, you would need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for a rabies vaccine and then bring a copy of the invoice or rabies certificate to the town clerk so she may update the rabies info on her computer.

This is the number to call if a dog is found/seen running at large that needs to be picked up. Stephen Donaghy is the DCO, and is excellent about returning phone calls when he is in the office. You need only leave one message, and he will return your call. If he is out on a call, then we do have one of our cruelty officers covering for him.
