NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Tully, New York, will hold a public hearing on July 29th at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building located at 5833 Meetinghouse Road, Tully,

New York 13159, on the request of Christopher and Susan Nevins at 200 Long Road, Tax Map No. 122-01-45.0

The request is for an area variance.

This application is open to inspection at the office of the Tully Town Clerk at 5833 Meetinghouse Road, Tully, New York during the Town Clerk’s published business hours. Persons wishing to appear at the hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representation.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the environmental significance of the proposed variance will be reviewed by said Board incident to said hearing.

Update on the Zoning Code Adoption Process

At its meeting on July 8, 2026, the Town Board began the formal review process for the proposed zoning code and zoning map updates.

The next steps are as follows:

  1. SEQR and agency review
    The Town Board declared its intent to serve as Lead Agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR). Part 1 of the Full Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) will be distributed to surrounding municipalities as part of the coordinated SEQR review. The draft zoning code will also be submitted to Onondaga County for review under New York State General Municipal Law § 239.
  2. Environmental review
    Provided that no significant issues are identified during the review, the Town Board is expected to consider Parts 2 and 3 of the Full EAF and a potential Negative Declaration at its August 2026 meeting.
  3. Final revisions, public hearing, and potential adoption
    Following completion of the environmental review, Barton & Loguidice (B&L) will review comments received from the County and the State, incorporate any revisions accepted by the Town, and prepare a final draft. A public hearing is anticipated for the September 2026 Town Board meeting. At that meeting, the Town Board may consider adopting the updated zoning code and zoning map.

The July 8 meeting represented the first step in this three-step review and adoption process. Documents referenced in this update are attached below.

Tenntative Assesment Roll

(PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 506 & 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of TULLY, County of
Onondaga has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year
and a copy will be filed during the month of May, 2026 with the Town Clerk at the Tully Town
Hall, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on the
following days and hours:

May 4, 2026 9am -lpm
May 11, 2026 9am – 1pm
May 18, 2026 4pm – 8pm
May 23, 2026 11am -3pm

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on June 10, 2026 at the Tully Town Hall, to hear and
examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person
believing himself to be aggrieved. Grievance hearings will be by appointment. Please call 315-
