NOTICE OF BOND RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

The resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, was adopted on May 15, 2024 and is subject to permissive referendum in accordance with Section 90 of the Town Law.

SUMMARY OF BOND RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

A Bond Resolution adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Tully, New York (the “Town”) on May 15, 2024 authorizes the acquisition, construction and equipping of certain improvements and repairs to the Route 11A Water District, including expansion of the system to connect with the existing Village of Tully water system, at a maximum estimated cost of $2,747,000. Such Bond Resolution authorizes up to $2,747,000, or such lesser amount as may be necessary, of serial bonds or any bond anticipation notes, including renewals of such notes, in anticipation of the issuance and sale of the bonds of said Town, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Finance Law and the levy of a tax to pay principal and interest on said obligations, and the application, if and when available, of state and/or federal assistance available or to any revenues available for such purpose from any other source.  Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law, the period of probable usefulness of the Project is forty (40) years. Such resolution shall be kept available for public inspection in the Town Offices during regular business hours following this publication.

Adoption of Amendment to Zoning Laws

NOTICE:  Town of Tully, NY adoption of amendment to Zoning Laws titled, 
A Local Law within the Town of Tully, New York to renew a temporary moratorium on certain land development applications that are pending or may subsequently be filed within the Town of Tully as enacted by Local Law No. 2 0f 2022.  This Local Law No. 3 of 2023 was adopted on June 14, 2023.

LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE TOWN OF TULLY CODE BY CREATING TIER 3 SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICTS

NOTICE:  Town of Tully, NY on or about June 5, 2023 pursuant to Local Law No. 2 of 2023 entitled LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE TOWN OF TULLY CODE BY CREATING TIER 3 SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICTS, Sky High Solar, LLC (the Applicant) submitted an application to create a Tier 3 Solar Energy System Overlay District to change the zone for the siting of the Sky High Solar Project, a 20-MW ground-mounted solar energy system proposed at 1315 Sky High Road, Tully, New York.

Town of Tully, NY adoption of amendment to Zoning Laws

NOTICE:  Town of Tully, NY adoption of amendment to Zoning Laws titled, A Local Law Within the Town of Tully, New York to Establish a Temporary Moratorium on Certain Land Development Applications that are Pending or May Subsequently be Filed with the Town of Tully, LL #2 of 2022, the purpose of which is to ensure that no development applications are considered or acted upon until the Town Board prepares and considers revisions to its Comprehensive Plan.
